Automatic shut-off valves for sudden increase in flow
In their normal operating VBA valves allow the flow of fluid in both directions without affecting the normal one operation of the hydraulic system, but in the event, for example, of breaking of the hose, the valves ensure the blocking of the load.
The safety valves VBA need to be set by regulating the opening thickness “S” (see technical data sheet) so that the setting corresponds to 50% higher than the capacity of the system.
Setting can be carried out at our factory or directly by the customer.
It is also possible to make a small calibrated hole “H” on the plate to ensure a slow lowering of the load with the valve closed.
If not possible to mount the valve inside the cylinder, it is possible to mount it in-line with an housing M/F or F/F.
The safety valves are externally protected by a manganese phosphating treatment.
